CALLING ALL GLORIOUS BROADS

WE ARE GLORIOUS. WE ARE BROADS. WE ARE HERE. 

We are artists and actors, politicians and painters, teachers, preachers and students. We are musicians and mountain climbers, designers and Uber drivers. We wear Gucci and Gap, in galleries and with gavels; we sing, we chant, we roar.

WE ARE EVERYONE. 

We are mothers, daughters, sisters, lovers and friends; we have trust funds and work for minimum wage, we make our own living and we make a difference.

WE ARE EVERYWHERE. 

We are in Paris and Portland, Peoria and Patagonia. We live in condos and cottages, we are in the woods and hoods, in the scene and totally off-grid.

WE ARE NOW. 

Now is the time to be proud and passionate. We are here to show and tell the world how to be this wild, this free, this glorious. We are no longer silent or subtle; our monologue is becoming a dialogue and a diatribe. We are not alone.

We create common ground through an uncommon community.

We know, we know — EVERYTHING is different now. But let's have a real summer moment and celebrate the Glorious Beach Broads we’ve found strolling down our New York City beaches the past two years.

What I love about all of these broads is their eternal badass confidence. They remind me of my first trip to Europe. I was just about 20 — and was blown away that whatever size, whatever age, the women there were strutting their stuff in their bikinis — owning every bit of their years — their skin — their ‘tude
